Bicycle.

Today is my first day at work and honestly I think that working in the office is not my forte because it bores me. I prefer doing something that requires me to move or make/invent something rather than just sit in front of the laptop screen for 8 hours (btw, I work as a research assistant). Luckily for my first day I don't have to do a lot of work. The only thing I do today are making my work log book and find some information for my mom (yes, I work for my mom and her colleagues and no I don't get any special treatment). After I've done all my work, I decided to try an app that I recently downloaded a few days ago. It's called 'Tayasui Sketches' and you can download it in the App Store but I'm not sure if it's available in the Play Store. The basic version is free and the pro version is $1.99. I decided to draw a bicycle because I love bicycle especially the vintage one. I started out by sketching the outline of the bicycle using the pencil tool.

Excuse the not-so-round wheels. I haven't draw for more than 3 years.
Then I used the crayon tool and colour in the bicycle. I chose pastel mint and lavender because those 2 are my fave colour and the compliments each other well. And for the basket, I chose a pastel, beige/brown and voila!

The outcome and I love it :)
Overall I'm happy with the final look and proud of myself (pat myself at the back). Growing up, I really love to draw and love anything related to arts but my big family adores the one that have good grades especially in science and that's why I continued my study in science stream until matriculation. After matriculation I follow my own heart (half of it) and do what I like but what I really love to take at Uni is interior design and let's stop here because I don't want to bore you guys with my unrequited love with interior design. Anyway, if you guys know where I can get a bicycle that looks like or similar to my drawing, let me know because I've been searching for it since forever. That's all for now.

Au revoir et à tout à l'heure :)
